JOB TITLE: Cultural Support Worker

REPORTS TO: Housing First Team leader

HOURLY RANGE: $22.40 - $26.36/hour

HOURS: 20-30 hrs/week, between the hours of 8:30AM – 5:00PM Monday to Friday

Job Purpose: This position is providing cultural supports to for the Housing First team and its participants. As part of Alberta’s plan to end homelessness with Homeward Trust Edmonton, the Cultural Support worker is a member of Boyle Street Community Services Housing team. The main priority as cultural support is to identify and support individuals who are interested in connecting to Indigenous Culture. This will be accomplished by providing opportunity and connection to cultural teachings, activities, and ceremonies internally within Boyle Street or with external partners. Through connection to culture, the successful candidate will support participants in maintaining their housing.
