Krysta Fitzgerald (on the left), worked at Boyle Street for over a decade. We are deeply grateful for her work and wish her the best.
The Board of Directors of Boyle Street Community Services is deeply grateful for Krysta Fitzgerald's dedication to the organization and the people we serve. Her love for the community was evident and genuine, and her unwavering commitment to those who relied on our services will be greatly missed.
Among her many accomplishments during her time with the organization were her leadership in modernizing our approach to supporting children and families, building meaningful and lasting relationships with Indigenous partners, and providing a steady, compassionate perspective as Boyle Street underwent a period of significant growth and change. We thank Krysta for her many contributions and wish her every success in her future endeavors.
We recognize that this news may be a great deal to process, and we are committed to ensuring stability throughout this period of transition. The Board's search for a permanent Executive Director remains underway, with an announcement anticipated in early 2027.
The Board of Directors extends its sincere thanks to Deputy Executive Director Fred Hines, who has agreed to serve as Interim Executive Director effective August 4, 2026. We want to assure our staff, partners, donors, and community members that there will be no disruption to our programs or services during this transition.
Thank you,
John Pinsent
Board Chair
