Volunteer With Us
Volunteers are the backbone of our organization. We are so grateful that Edmonton has shown continued interest in supporting our city’s most vulnerable.
Volunteers like you play a significant role at Boyle Street, assisting staff and the community in ways that directly relate to our mission to end chronic homelessness. We welcome volunteers from all walks of life, including individuals who access our services, staff from neighbouring businesses, and other engaged Edmontonians.
Volunteer Program
Our volunteer program is designed intentionally and thoughtfully to contribute to the sustainability of Boyle Street Community Services. We have worked hard to create meaningful opportunities across our organization for passionate members of our community.
We have two volunteer streams each with unique opportunities to fit your skills and availability. Please click the button below to complete an application that seems most relevant to you currently. We have a limited number of volunteer opportunities at this time, so your patience and understanding are appreciated.
*Program Support volunteer applications for 2023 are currently closed . We thank all applicants, but due to a large number of submissions and limited opportunities, only successful candidates will be contacted

Meet Our Volunteer Coordinator

Meet Dan
Dan Zimmerman (he/him) has been with Boyle Street since 2018 and will be your primary contact for all things related to our Volunteer Program!
Dan brings immense expertise and enthusiasm to all that he does and has done exceptionally well in his previous role as Drop-in Program Coordinator at the Community Centre.
“I am passionate about Volunteerism because I believe Boyle Street's programs and community members need support and resources from the broader community, and I believe that our advocacy efforts as an organization are significantly improved when our volunteers are in closer proximity to our Community Members.”
- Dan
