Boyle Street Academy of Understanding

A community that learns together,

grows together

BSAU teaches people about the lived experiences of poverty and homelessness and helps individuals build new relationships. We facilitate conversations that are needed for us to support each other as neighbours and members of one shared community.

By working together to build understanding, we work toward Boyle Street’s goal of a stronger, more inclusive city.

The BSAU is designed to create lasting change. We want participants to leave feeling empowered and inspired about the future of their community.

How to get Involved

Book in for a Boyle Street 101: 90 minute on-site learning experience getting to know our staff and supports at okimaw peyesew kamik; offered on a weekly basis

Bring BSAU to your workplace: 4 core presentations available to be booked by request, see brochure below

Sign up for a Support Naloxone Training: Experiential learning provided by staff to learn why it is important to carry Naloxone and how to use it.
