Support Winter Warmth for Vulnerable Edmontonians
Our Emergency Response Fund (ERF) keeps our community safe by providing funds we can access as emergencies strike, including extreme weather. ERF makes it possible for us to be responsive to the immediate needs of our community in ways that center dignity and respect for all.
This holiday season Make Warmth Possible by supporting vulnerable Edmontonians to stay safe and well during the winter months.
Our neighbours experiencing homelessness or poverty are especially vulnerable during extreme winter weather.
Not everyone can find shelter from the cold. As temperatures drop, so does the risk of hypothermia and frostbite (which can set in at only –5 degrees Celsius!) that can lead to serious health issues and life-threatening situations.
Our Emergency Response Fund (ERF) lets us act quickly: we distribute gloves, toques, socks, blankets, and other essential supplies that help prevent cold-related health issues and protect against exposure.
By donating to our ERF this holiday season, you’re helping us prepare for extreme weather before it happens. Your support helps us provide our sites with essential supplies and purchase exactly what we need when it is needed most.
Thank you - your donations allow us to respond with care, dignity, and urgency to protect our community members during extreme weather events.

Donations for Winter Weather Relief
We are not able to accept donations dropped off at our locations. Please consider making a monetary donation to our Emergency Response Fund so we can purchase thick socks, warm toques, and other winter supplies that keep our community safe and better protected from frostbite.
