Support Summer Safety for Vulnerable Edmontonians
Edmontonians experiencing homelessness or poverty are especially vulnerable during extreme summer weather.
Not everyone can find shelter from the heat. As temperatures rise, so does the risk of dehydration, heat stroke, sunburn, and other serious health issues. Poor air quality from wildfire smoke makes conditions even more dangerous, especially for those with limited access to shelter and clean air.
Our Emergency Response Fund (ERF) allows us to act quickly and provide immediate support - distributing water bottles, sunscreen, hats, masks, and other essential supplies that help prevent heat-related illness and protect against smoke exposure.
By donating to our ERF, you’re helping us prepare for extreme weather before it happens. This support helps us to both prepare our sites with essential supplies and purchase exactly what we need when it is needed.
Thank you - your donations allow us to respond with care, dignity, and urgency to protect our community members during extreme weather events.

Donations for Summer Weather Relief
We are not able to accept donations dropped off at our locations. Please consider making a monetary donation to our Emergency Response Fund so we can purchase water, sunscreen, and other summer protection items that keep our community safe.
