Student practicums

Student practicums are an essential part of the work we do at BSCS, and we have an ongoing commitment to supporting professional growth and development across the city of Edmonton.  

Currently, BSCS prioritizes placements with institutions we have signed agreements and an ongoing partnership with. This ensures consistency and meaning in student learning and experiences.  

If you are a student seeking a practicum placement, we do not take individual applications for practicums. Please contact your institution about available opportunities.  

These institutions currently include:  

  • MacEwan University Faculty of Social Work  

  • MacEwan University Faculty of Nursing  

  • University of Alberta Nursing Leadership Placements  

  • University of Alberta Occupational Therapy Placements  

  • Norquest College (any faculty)
